Background
Rhema Women's Space
Human life, at its most rudimentary level, is
comprised of male and female beings, just like it is with all other living
animal species. This set of human beings were designed perfectly in God’s image
and are equal in worth and value. While males and females do have many
similarities for the purpose of stewarding the universe for God’s glory, they
also have many differences for complementarity benefits.
Women have unique feminine physical, physiological,
emotional, and mental features that enable them to think and act differently
from their male counterparts. These unique features result in the concept of
the ‘Wonder of Womanhood’ that need
to be explored, upheld, celebrated, and maximized for their own fulfilment and leveraging
for the greater good. Women are at the core of human life as a whole and they carry
and nurture human life from conception to adulthood. This nurturing design
comes with undeniable influence that add value to life.
Often times, women do not fully understand the wonder of femininity and their potential to thrive and make a difference. On one end of the spectrum, they have been socialized to believe that somehow, somewhere, they are inferior to men, that there are things they are not able to and that they are things they should not do. On the other extreme, women are being told by radical feminists that they are equal and same with men and that they should behave like men in order to succeed in life.
Who am I? What does it really mean to be a woman? What is my purpose? How do I heal from the haunting past experiences? How can I succeed?
